I learned how to write for the heart from Frank McCourt, my high school creative writing teacher. I learned how to write for the head at the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse University.
I spent a good part of my career as a marketer on staff at Sesame Workshop, Nickelodeon and the College Board, aging with my demographic.
By day, I’m a freelance writer and editor for Fortune 500 companies, education companies and non-profit organizations. I’m also an adjunct professor teaching PR writing and marketing to graduate students at the NYU School of Professional Studies.
By night, I’m an award-winning librettist for musical theater.
